George Brack - age 29 - a gardener of Newtown Glen, St. Boswells.

There are no military records available via Ancestry showing his enlistment or reason for the very short period he appears to have spent in the army.  As his suicide followed hot on the heels of being demobbed, it can only be speculated that this may have been the result of his having been discharged from service.  To the best of our knowledge he was single, but may have had three older sisters, Elizabeth, Euphemia and Jean.
